Cochin to Munnar
Welcome to Kerala “Gods own country” Your vacation begins today, upon arrival at airport/railway station (this is only a tentative arrival time) Explore the glitz and glamour of Munnar the confluence of three mountain streams, 1600 m above sea level. Sprawling tea plantations, picture-book towns, winding lanes and waterfalls Sightseeing at Cheeyapara, Valara, Kallar waterfalls and Karadippara View Point on the way Lunch at Hotel Farmyard on the way Visit Spice Plantation on the way (optional) Check-in at resort, Munnar & Relax in the evening Dinner at the resort and sleep overnight
Day #2
Munnar
This morning, after breakfast at the resort, Enjoy vistas of Munnar at Rajamala, Suicide point, A trip to Eravikulam National Park Visit Tea museum Lunch at Munnar town Blossom Park, Trip to Mattupetty Dam, elephant ride A trip to Ecco point Hydel Park You may get a wonderful shopping experience at a spice garden in the evening at Munnar town. Return to resort for overnight stay.
Day #3
Munnar to Thekkady
After breakfast at the resort, check-out from the resort and Proceed Thekkady the tropical evergreen forest. Check-in to the resort, Thekkady. Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary amidst the rich jungles of Periyar is one of the world’s most fascinating natural wildlife reserves. Optional activities include Boating at Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, Elephant Safari, cultural night shows ( optional – kathakali& kalarippayattu) Visit the Spice Plantation, bird watching, and spices shopping. Free time for shopping Return to the room and sleep overnight.
Day #4
Thekkady to Alleppey
After breakfast at the resort, check-out from the resort and visit Alleppey-the place of immense natural beauty, with its labyrinth of waterways, was extolled by travelers as the Venice of East. Discover the exotic land caressed by the Arabian Sea in the West and the vast network of lakes, lagoons and freshwater rivers crisscrossing it. Arrival at Houseboat boarding point Check-in to the houseboat, set on the cruise, touching various islands. Stay in a fully furnished exotic houseboat, which takes you in the serene and stunning beauty across sun-dappled backwaters. While your eyes explore the rustic life that floats by treating your plate to backwater delicacies prepared by your own personal chef. Lunch on board (houseboat will be anchored) Tea & snacks Dinner on board followed by overnight stay (houseboat will be anchored).
Day #5
Alleppey Departure
Today is the last day of the trip. The driver will drop you at the airport/railway station for onward Journey. After breakfast at the hotel Check-out from the hotel Shopping at Lulu Mall (depends on time availability) Drop at railway station/airport, to board the return flight (tentative time of departure).
